Andrew Barnhardt has competed with the Scarlet Raptors’ cross country, indoor and outdoor track teams during his career at Rutgers-Camden, while also capturing several academic honors. He capped his 2022 outdoor season as the ECAC champion at 10,000 meters.

Outdoor Track 2022: Competed in seven meets, running five different events…Established a PR in all four individual events that he ran…Won the ECAC championship in the 10,000-meter run (May 18), placing first of eight runners in a PR time of 36:33.60…Also ran on the Raptors’ 4x400 team at the ECAC meet (4:24.61, second of two teams)…Earned a PR of 9:33.20 to finish ninth of 25 at 3,000 meters at the Stockton Invitational (March 26)…Finished 46th of 78 at 5,000 meters (16:20.22) at the Danny Curran Invitational (April 1)…Placed third of nine at 10,000 meters (36:36.86) at the Osprey Open (April 8)…Ran 5,000 meters at the Widener Invitational (April 22), placing 76th of 89 with a PR of 16:18.16…Had a PR of 4:20.01 in the 1,500-meter run at the Lions Invitational (April 30)…Finished 18th of 22 at 5,000 meters (17:02.48) at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (May 9).

Indoor Track 2021-22: Competed in six meets, running at 800 meters, the mile, 3,000 meters, 5,000 meters and the distance medley relay…Set his PR in all five events…Notched a PR of 2:20.96 while finishing 15th of 22 at 800 meters in the Bow-Tie Invitational (Dec. 10)…Finished 13th of 20 in the 3,000-meter run with a PR of 9:59.57 at the Collegeville Classic (January 22)…His PR of 16:53.88 in the 5,000-meter run at the Frank Colden Invitational (February 5) led to a 17th-place finish out of 23 athletes…Finished 24th of 42 with a PR of 4:44.90 in the mile at the Fastrack National Invitational (February 11)…Ran a PR of 11:15.76 in the DMR as the team finished sixth of nine at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (February 21).

Cross Country 2021: Competed in all eight meets for the Scarlet Raptors, finishing second on the team at seven of them and leading the team at the season-ending NCAA Metro Regional (Nov. 13), where he placed 104th of 163 athletes in the 8K event in a time of 29:54.3…Placed 27th of 32 at the season-opening Bryn Mawr Invitational (Sept. 1) with a 5K time of 20:09.1…Ran a 22:39.12 time in the 6K Osprey Memorial Invitational (Sept. 10), placing 14th of 25…Competed at 8K events the rest of the season, starting with the Osprey Open (Sept. 25), where he finished 69th of 132 (29:41.86)…Finished 168th of 218 at the Paul Short Run (Oct. 2) in a time of 30:52.5…Posted a 32:07.9 clocking to place 56th of 128 at the Jack Saint Clair Memorial Invitational (Oct. 9)…Finished 123rd of 208 (31:27.3) at the Border Battle (Oct. 16)…At the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (Oct. 30), finished 69th of 111 in a time of 29:03.1.

Outdoor Track 2021: Competed in three meets…Set a PR in both the 4x400 (4:08.73, finishing eighth of eight teams) and the 3,000-meter run (9:53.99, 23rd of 26 athletes) at the Stockton Invitational #1 on March 26…Competed in the 5,000-meter run at both the Stockton Invitational #2 (April 2) and the Bill Fritz Invitational (April 17), finishing 11th of 15 at Stockton (a PR of 17:04.78) and 24th of 27 at the Bill Fritz meet (17:14.41).

Cross Country 2020-21: Competed in both meets, setting his 5K and 8K PR times, during the brief pandemic-altered season held in March, 2021…Finished second on the team and eighth of 27 overall (18:38.92) at the 5K Stockton Invitational (March 6)…Placed third on the Raptors and 23rd of 39 overall at the 8K New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (March 20) with a PR of 28:48.2.

Cross Country 2019: Competed in eight meets, running second on the team in five of them, including the final four of the season, and third in the other three…Notched his best 5K time of 20:07.82 at the Bryn Mawr Invitational (Aug. 30), finishing 47th of 107 overall and second on the Scarlet Raptors…Best 8K time of 29:09.5 came at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (Nov. 2), placing second on the Raptors and 74th of 105 overall…Posted an 8K time of 30:13.1 at the NCAA Atlantic Regionals (Nov. 16), finishing second on the team and 244th of 300 runners overall.
