Biography
A transfer from Georgian Court University, Andrew Tummings Jr. participated with the men’s basketball team and the outdoor track program during his first year at Rutgers-Camden.
Academics: Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2024 Fall and 2025 Spring semesters…Dean’s List student.
Outdoor Track 2025: Competed in the high jump at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (May 4), tying for ninth out of 16 athletes with a PR of 1.73 meters.
Basketball 2024-25: Appeared in 10 games…Scored five points for a 0.5 scoring average…Added three assists and four steals…Shot 2-for-4 (.500) from the floor and 1-for-2 (.500) from the foul line…Made his Scarlet Raptor debut against Penn State-Lehigh Valley (Nov. 9), shooting 0-for-1 from three-point range…Collected his high of two steals and added one assist against Rutgers-Newark (Nov. 26),,,Shot 1-for-1 from the floor for two points, while adding one assist against Ramapo (Dec. 7)…Shot 1-for-2 from the line for one point, while adding one steal against The College of New Jersey (Dec. 11)…Shot 1-for-1 from the floor for two points and added one assist and one steal against The College of New Jersey (Feb. 5).
Pre-Rutgers: Played two seasons at Georgian Court University, appearing in 12 games…Averaged .67 points and .3 rebounds…Added one assist and one steal.
High School: Three-year varsity basketball letterman at Sterling High School for Coach Justin Barringer…All-Conference First Team…Graduated in 2022.
