Biography
A three-year member of the women’s basketball program, Angelina Cellucci switched sports over the winter to become a valuable sprinter for the indoor track program. She capped her senior academic year as a member of the outdoor track program during the spring.
Cellucci appeared in 27 basketball games at Rutgers-Camden, while collecting numerous academic honors.
Academics: New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Honorable Mention for the 2022-23 scholastic year…Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and a Dean’s List student for the 2022 Spring, 2022 Fall, 2023 Fall, 2024 Spring and 2025 Spring semesters.
Outdoor Track 2025: Competed in five invitationals during her first outdoor track season…Set a PR in both the 200-meter dash (30.96, finishing 106th of 124) and with the 4x400 team (4:42.74, 14th of 15) at the Danny Curran Invitational (March 29)…Posted a time of 32.61 and finished 41st of 52 in the 200-meter dash at the Ursinus College Track & Field Festival (April 5)…At the Paul Donahue Invitational (April 19), placed 90th of 95 at 200 meters (32.44) and 12th of 12 with the 4x100 relay team (a PR of 57.73)…Finished 36th of 37 in the 100-meter dash (20.27) and 33rd of 35 at 400 meters (a PR of 1:18.49) at the Lions Invitational (April 26)…At the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (May 3-4), set a PR of 14.87 in the 100-meter dash (28th of 32) and finished 31st of 32 (32.00) at 200 meters on the opening day before attempting her first high jump the next day (15th of 15, no height).
Indoor Track 2023-24: Competed in six meets, making her collegiate track debut at the FastTrack Opener (Dec. 6), where she set her PR of 31:10 at 200 meters while finishing 71st of 76…Ran her only 400-meter dash to set a PR of 1:26.42, while finishing ninth of nine at the Bow-Tie Invitational (Dec. 7)…Placed 82nd of 86 at 200 meters (32.95) and ran with the 4x200 team (a PR of 1:57.26) that finished 10th of 14…At the Gotham Cup (Jan. 17), finished 31st of 33 at 60 meters (9.59) and 73rd of 74 at 200 meters (32.16)…Posted her PR time of 4:56.96 while helping the 4x400 team finish ninth of nine at the Frank Colden Invitational (Feb. 8), and also ran both the 60-meter dash (9.51, 41st of 48) and the 200-meter dash (32.84, 35th of 41)…At the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (Feb. 22), finished 18th of 21 at 60 meters (9.23).
Basketball 2023-24: Appeared in eight games…Collected one rebound…Shot 0-for-4 from the floor…Made her first appearance at Penn State-Abington (Nov. 16), playing two minutes…Grabbed a defensive rebound at Stockton (Jan. 24).
Basketball 2022-23: Appeared in eight games…Shot 0-for-6 from the floor, including 0-for-5 from three-point range…Made her season debut with three minutes off the bench against Drew (Nov. 9)…Played a season high of six minutes against the City College of New York (Dec. 28), going 0-for-5 from the floor, including four shots from three-point range.
Basketball 2021-22: Appeared in 11 games…Notched one defensive rebound…Shot 0-for-1 from the floor…Made her collegiate debut playing two minutes against Alvernia (Nov. 15)…Played a season-high 17 minutes against Ramapo (Feb. 16), collecting her lone rebound…Played three minutes in a New Jersey Athletic Conference playoff game against Stockton (Feb. 19).
High School: Varsity basketball letterwinner at Timber Creek High School for Coach Mollyanne Stevenson…Also played varsity soccer…National Honor Society…Graduated in 2021.

Personal: Born May 2, 2003…Last name pronounced “suh-LU-chee”…Nicknamed “Ang”…Enjoys playing and watching basketball…Criminal Justice major with a Sociology minor at Rutgers-Camden who plans to coach basketball and work with the juvenile justice system…Angelina is the daughter of Michael and Carolee Cellucci of Sicklerville.
