Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Freshman Dana Bird was all set to join the Rutgers-Camden outdoor track program during the 2020 spring season after competing in one meet during the indoor season. The coronavirus outbreak cancelled the entire spring season, wiping out the track schedule.
 
Academics: Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2019 Fall and 2020 Spring semesters…Dean’s List…One of 47 athletes on the 171-member 2020 Spring AD Honor Roll to post a 4.0 GPA. Indoor Track 2019-20: Made her Scarlet Raptor debut at the Wagner Seahawk Shootout (Dec. 13), fouling during the shot put competition.
 
High School: Graduated from Haddon Township High School in 2019.
 
Personal: Born March 12, 2001…Enjoys playing field hockey, kickboxing and exercising…Also tries to volunteer as much as possible in her free time…Likes to travel and explore new places…Health Sciences major at Rutgers-Camden…Post-graduation plans are to join the Navy and apply to Medical School to become a Dermatologist…Dana is the daughter of Miriam and Stephen Bird of Westmont.
