Biography

Dayo Olatubosun earned his first collegiate letters during the 2021-22 scholastic year as a member of the Scarlet Raptors’ indoor and outdoor track teams. He also competed with the indoor and outdoor track programs during the 2022-23 scholastic year.
 
Olatubosun also has captured several academic honors at Rutgers-Camden.
 
Academics: New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Honorable Mention for the 2021-22 and 2022-23 scholastic years…Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2021 Fall, 2022 Fall and 2023 Spring semesters…Dean’s List student.
 
Outdoor Track 2023: Ran with the 4x100 relay team at the season-opening Stockton Invitational (March 25), finishing sixth of eight in a time of 52.00.
 
Indoor Track 2022-23: Competed in three meets, beginning with the Fasttrack Season Opener (Dec. 2), when he finished 60th of 64 in the 200-meter dash (26.24)…Placed 30th of 39 in the 60-meter dash (8.04) and 17th of 19 with the 4x400 team (4:11.57) at the Bow-Tie Invitational (Dec. 9)…Ran with the 4x400 team (5:08.12) which finished fourth of four at the Collegeville Classic (Jan. 21).
 
Outdoor Track 2022: Competed in seven meets, including six times in the 100-meter dash, four times in the 200-meter dash and three times with the 4x100 relay team…Made his outdoor debut at the Stockton Invitational (March 26), finishing 32nd of 35 at 100 meters (13.18) and 43rd of 50 at 200 meters (27.60)…Notched his first sub-13 second time in the 100-meter dash (12.83) and finished 49th of 69 at the Osprey Open (April 9), while also setting a PR of 49.50 with the 4x100 team (10th of 10)…Notched a pair of PR times at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (May 8), finishing 29th of 34 at 100 meters (12.39) and 27th of 31 at 200 meters (26.39), while also running on the 4x100 team (seventh of eight, 51.99).
 
Indoor Track 2021-22: Competed at six meets, running the 60-meter dash at all six, while also competing in four 200-meter dashes and once with the 4x200 relay team…Made his Rutgers-Camden debut at the Bow-Tie Invitational (Dec. 10) when he finished 32nd of 35 in the 60-meter dash (8.16) and 32nd of 33 at 200 meters (28.65)…Set a PR in the 200-meter dash (27.31) while finishing 48th of 55 at the Collegeville Classic (Jan. 20), while also placing 35th of 39 at 60 meters (8.16)…Collected his first sub-8:00 time in the 60-meter dash, finishing 73rd of 80 at the Fastrack National Invitational on Feb. 11 with a time of 7.98…Also ran the 200-meter dash (138th of 138, 28.33) at that meet…At the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships, finished 27th of 29 in the 60-meter dash (8.08) and ran on the 4x200 team which finished ninth of nine (1:48.12)…Notched his 60-meter PR of 7.93 to finish 14th of 18 at the Fastrack Last Chance meet (Feb. 25).
 
High School: Captured two varsity basketball letters at Florence Township Memorial High School…Graduated in 2019.
