Biography

A transfer from Rowan College at Gloucester County, Jessica Dybus joined the Scarlet Raptors’ outdoor track program during the 2016 spring season and returns for the 2017 season this spring. She also has been a member of the Rutgers-Camden cheerleading squad.
 
3580A senior academically who has junior eligibility in outdoor track, Dybus earned a berth on the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2016 fall semester.
 
Outdoor Track 2016: Competed in three meets after joining the program early in the spring season…Threw the discus in two meets and the shot put in all three outings…Made her Scarlet Raptor debut at the Oscar Moore Open (April 1) with a shot put of 8.26 meters, finishing 12th of 14…Placed 16th of 28 in the shot put (8.02 meters) and ninth of 27 in the discus (26.06) at the Osprey Open (April 9)…Established her personal bests in the shot put (8.65 meters) and discus (28.74 meters) at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships (May 8), finishing 12th of 14 in the shot and 10th of 17 in the discus.
 
Pre-Rutgers: Competed with the track and field and the cross country programs at Rowan College at Gloucester County.
 
High School: Graduate of Williamstown High School in 2013…Member of the cross country, cheerleading and track and field teams for the Braves.
 
Personal: Born August 30, 1995…Enjoys shopping, baking and spending time with her family…Biology major with a Psychology minor at Rutgers-Camden…Plans to attend Physician Assistant School and become a P.A….Jessica is the daughter of Tracey Dybus-Davis and Jim Davis of Williamstown.
