A stellar sprinter, Kayana Clue completed her second season with the Rutgers-Camden indoor track team during the winter of 2019-20 and would have participated on the outdoor track team for the second year if the season wasn’t cancelled by the coronavirus outbreak. Clue also has competed in one cross country meet for the Scarlet Raptors, helped set one indoor track record and earned several academic honors at Rutgers-Camden.

Indoor Track 2019-20: Competed in in seven meets, running in six different events…Contributed to a program-record 4x200 relay team…Opened the campaign at the Fastrack Season Opener (Dec. 6), setting a PR in both the 60-meter dash (8.46, finishing 46th of 63) and the 200-meter dash (28.23, 31st of 55)…Placed 29th of 50 in the 60-meter dash (8.60) and 23rd of 46 in the 300-meter dash (46.09) at the Wagner Seahawk Shootout (Dec. 13)…Qualified for the 55-meter finals by placing fourth of 17 (8.13) at the Dutchmen Invitational (Jan. 17) and set a PR in the event during the finals (8:11) while placing fourth of six…At the Collegeville Classic (Jan. 25), placed 27th of 59 at 60 meters (8.79) and 20th of 57 at 200 meters (29.19)…Ran the 60-meter dash (16th of 37, 8.82) and with the 4x200 team (seventh of eight, 2:02.09) at the Susquehanna Invitational (Feb. 15)…Had a busy day with four events at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (Feb. 24), placing 22nd of 24 in the 60-meter dash (8.57), 18th of 26 in the 200-meter dash (28.45), sixth of eight with the 4x200 team (1:56.08) and ninth of nine with the 4x400 team (4:57.07)…Set a pair of PR relay times, including a program record, at the ECAC Championships (March 6-7), posting a Raptor-record time of 1:53.39 on the 4x200 team, which placed fifth of seven…On the final day of the ECAC meet, had a PR in the 4x400 (4:44.24), finishing fourth of five teams.
Cross Country 2019: Competed in the 5K Nick Russo Halloween run, finishing fourth on the Raptors and 13th of 14 overall with a time of 35:46.61.
Outdoor Track 2019: Ran the 100-meter dash at two meets…Set a PR of 13.85, while finishing 40th of 83, in the 100-meter dash at the Danny Curran Invitational (March 30)…Placed 52nd of 65 at 100 meters (13.88) at the Coach P Invitational (April 13).
Indoor Track 2018-19: Competed in three meets, running in five different events…Set her PR’s of 45.35 in the 300-meter dash (finishing 22nd of 51) and 4:54.77 in the 4x400 (13th of 13) during her collegiate debut at the TCNJ Open (Dec. 1)…Finished 16th of 44 in the 60-meter dash (a PR of 8.55) and 16th of 46 in the 200-meter dash (a PR of 28.30) at the Moravian Invitational (Jan. 26)…Tied for 28th of 50 in the 60-meter dash (8.57) and helped the 4x200 team finish 11th of 13 (a PR of 2:02.50) at the Frank Colden Invitational (Feb. 2).
