Biography

Kenny Cashman earned his first collegiate letter with the Scarlet Raptors’ indoor track program last winter and added an outdoor track letter in the spring. He also captured academic honors during his freshman year.
 
Cashman ran his second season of indoor track during the 2023-24 campaign.
 
Academics: Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2022 Fall semester.
 
Indoor Track 2023-24: Competed in two December meets…Set a PR of 8.14 and finished 28th of 31 in the 60-meter dash and posted a 28.29 tine to finish 61st of 61 in the 200-meter dash at the season-opening FastTrack Open (Dec. 1)…At the Bow-Tie Invitational (Dec. 8), finished 13th of 14 in the 60-meter hurdles qualifying (10.80), 56th of 61 in the 200-meter dash (27.62) and ran on the 4x400 B Team, which placed 14th of 14 teams (4:21.91).
 
Outdoor Track 2023: Competed in six meets, including all six in the 110-meter hurdles and five in the 100-meter dash…Opened the season at the Stockton Invitational (March 25), competing in both events, finishing 45th of 45 at 100 meters (15.71) and 11th of 11 in the 110 hurdles (23.12)…At the Osprey Open (April 8), set a PR of 12.60 at 100 meters (finishing 42nd of 59) and finishing 10th of 12 (20.21) in the 110 hurdles…Notched his PR of 19.91 in the 110 hurdles (finishing 15th of 15) at the season-ending New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (May 6), while also finishing 29th of 30 at 100 meters (12.70).
 
Indoor Track 2022-23: Competed in five meets, running the 200-meter dash four times, the 60-meter dash three times, the 60-meter hurdles twice and being a member of both the 4x200 and 4x400 relay teams on one occasion apiece…Made his collegiate debut at the Fasttrack Opener (Dec. 2), where he finished 18th of 19 at 60 meters (8.34) and 63rd of 64 at 200 meters (27.72)…One week later, at the Bow-Tie Invitational (Dec. 9), placed 35th of 39 at 60 meters (8.45), 43rd of 46 at 200 meters (28.28) and 17th of 19 with the 4x400 relay team (4:11.57)…Set a PR at 60 meters (8.19) and finished 33rd of 37 at the Collegeville Classic (Jan. 21), while also finishing 43rd of 46 at 200 meters (27.93)…At the Frank Colden Invitational (Feb. 4), finished 17th of 17 while running the 60-meter hurdles for the first time (11.27) and also was a member of the 4x200 relay team (1:46.25), which finished 16th of 17…Closed his season at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (Feb. 20), setting a PR in both the 200-meter dash (27.15, finishing 26th of 26) and the 60-meter hurdles (10.48, placing 21st of 22).
 
High School: Multi-sport athlete who lettered in football and both indoor and outdoor track & field at Washington Township High School…Helped the Minutemen earn an Olympic Conference track championship…National Honor Society…Honors graduate…Cum Laude graduate…Graduated in 2022.
