Rutgers-Camden Athletics

A member of the women’s basketball program during the winter, Kirsten Flournoy joined the outdoor track team in the spring 2017 semester.
 
In her first semester at Rutgers-Camden (2016 Fall), Flournoy was named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll semester.
 
Basketball 2016-17: Played in 25 of the team’s 26 games, starting two…Averaged 2.6 points and 2.6 rebounds…Shot 10-for-14 (.714) from the foul line…Collected six assists, seven steals and 12 blocked shots…Made her collegiate debut against Pitt-Bradford (Nov. 18) in the season opener, notching four points, six rebounds, two assists and one block…Had her first steal the next day against Frostburg State, while adding four rebounds, two points and one block…Notched her career high of nine rebounds against King’s College (Dec. 1), while adding four points and one steal…Made her first start at New Jersey City University (Dec. 3), playing 29 minutes and producing eight rebounds, one assist, one steal and career highs of three blocks and nine points…Improved on her career-high scoring output with 11 points against Rutgers-Newark (Dec. 14), while adding five rebounds…Shot 4-for-8 from the floor and 3-for-4 from the foul line in that game…Notched three straight games of four or more rebounds, collecting four apiece against The College of New Jersey (Jan. 18) and New Jersey City University (Jan. 21) and adding five at Rowan University (Jan. 25)…Also scored six points and added two blocks in the Jan. 18 TCNJ game.
