Luis Cornejo has been a member of the cross country, indoor track and outdoor track programs during his career at Rutgers-Camden.

Indoor Track 2021-22: Competed at one event, the Bow-Tie Invitational (Dec. 10)…Finished 17th of 20 in the mile with a time of 5:23.10.
Cross Country 2021: Ran in three invitationals, beginning with the 6K Osprey Memorial event (Sept. 10) when he placed third on the Raptors and 20th of 25 overall (24:01.57)…At the 8K New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (Oct. 30), finished sixth on the team and 102nd of 111 overall (35:41.5)…Placed fourth on the Raptors and 142nd of 163 overall at the 8K NCAA Metro Regional (Nov. 13), posting a 34:40.6 clocking.
Outdoor Track 2021: Ran in one meet, competing in the 1,500-meter run at the Stockton Invitational #2 (April 2)…Finished 19th of 20 athletes in a time of 5:08.63.
Cross Country 2020-21: Did not compete in the brief pandemic-altered season held in March, 2021.
Indoor Track 2020-21: Season cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Indoor Track 2019-20: Competed in three meets during the season, running the mile at both the Dutchmen Invitational (Jan. 17, 11th of 14, 5:37.66) and the Collegeville Classic (Jan. 25, 38th of 48, 5:23.19)…Ran with the distance medley relay at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (Feb. 24), finishing eighth of eight with a PR time of 12:19.32.
Cross Country 2019: Competed in three 8K meets during the season, beginning with the Jack Saint Clair Memorial Race (Oct. 12), when he finished fourth on the Scarlet Raptors and 93rd of 162 overall (33:13.8)…Set a new 8K PR time of 30:29.0 at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (Nov. 2), finishing fourth on the team and 84th of 105 overall…Closed his season at the NCAA Atlantic Regionals (Nov. 16), posting a time of 31:50.3 while finishing sixth on the Raptors and 274th of 300.
Outdoor Track 2019: Competed in four meets, including three at 1,500 meters and one at 800 meters…Set his PR at 1,500 meters (4:53.86) while finishing 120th of 130 at the Danny Curran Invitational (March 30)…Set his PR of 2:29.30 in the 800-meter event, placing 103rd of 106 at the Lions Invitational (April 27)…Ran in the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (May 5), finishing 19th of 19 at 1,500 meters (5:03.77).
Indoor Track 2018-19: Competed in seven meets, including the mile run at six meets…Posted his top mile time of 5:16.88 at the season-opening TCNJ Open (Dec. 1), finishing 30th of 32…Finished sixth of 11 in the mile at the Albright Invitational (Feb. 9) in a time of 5:43.16…Competed in both the mile (5:21.79, finishing 13th of 13) and the 4x400 (3:55.23, fifth of five) at the Seahawk Shootout (Dec. 7)…Ran on the Raptors’ 4x800 team (9:31.72, seventh of eight) at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (Feb. 18).
Cross Country 2018: Competed in six of the Scarlet Raptors’ eight meets, finishing everywhere from fourth to sixth on the team…Placed fifth on the Raptors and 57th of 103 overall at the season-opening 5K Bryn Mawr Invitational (Aug. 31), posting a time of 20:44.1…Ran a 34:22.5 8K time at the Delaware Invitational (Sept. 15) to place fourth on the team and 35th of 47 overall…Finished fifth on the Raptors at both the Osprey Open (Sept. 22) and Paul Short Run (Sept. 29)…Set his 8K PR of 32:43.35 and finished 73rd of 112 at the Osprey Open, while placing 244th of 292 at the Paul Short Run in a time of 33:30…Placed sixth on the team and 96th of 110 at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (Oct. 27), notching a time of 35:36.40…Ran a 34:38.9 time at the NCAA Atlantic Regionals (Nov. 10) to finish fifth on the Raptors and 271st of 307 overall.
