Biography
Madison Alexander made her collegiate athletic debut during the 2019-20 winter as a member of the Rutgers-Camden indoor track program, participating in the shot put in four meets, while also adding one competition in the 60-meter dash. She would have been a pole vaulter during the outdoor track season, but the schedule was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Academics: New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Honorable Mention for the 2021-22 scholastic year…Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2019 Fall, 2020 Spring and 2021 Fall semesters…Dean’s List student.

Indoor Track 2019-20: Competed in four meets in the shot put and added a 60-meter dash at her first meet…Made her Scarlet Raptor debut at the Wagner Seahawk Shootout (Dec. 13), placing 43rd of 50 in the 60-meter dash (a PR of 9.85) and 25th of 30 in the shot put (6.59 meters)…Set a shot put PR of 7.31 meters, finishing 16th of 18, at the Dutchmen Invitational (Jan. 17)…Placed 40th of 47 in the shot put (6.72 meters) at the Collegeville Classic (Jan. 25) and 26th of 27 in the shot put (5.85 meters) at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (Feb. 24).
High School: Graduated from Audubon High School in 2019.
Personal: Nicknamed “Maddy”…Hobbies include playing field hockey with her friends and volunteering to help coach her school’s field hockey team on the weekend…Nursing major at Rutgers-Camden who hopes to get her Master’s to be a Nurse Practitioner…Hopes to work as a RN at the Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia…Madison is the daughter of Krista and Dan Gaffney of Audubon.
