Maurice Obanor made his Rutgers-Camden athletic debut during the 2022 outdoor track season and has added letters with the cross country and the indoor track programs during his time on campus. He earned his second outdoor track letter during the 2024 season.

Outdoor Track 2024: Competed with the 4x400 relay team at four meets, beginning with the Danny Curran Invitational (March 30), when the squad finished eighth of 13 with his PR of 3:36.53…Placed eighth of nine in the 4x400 (4:01.27) at the Ursinus College Track & Field Festival (April 5)…Finished eighth of 10 in the event with a 3:42.71 clocking at the TCNJ Invitational (April 13)…At the Paul Donahue Invitational (April 20), finished 19th of 19 in the 4x400 (4:15.38).
Indoor Track 2023-24: Competed in two late-season meets, beginning with the FastTrack National Invite (Feb. 9), when he posted a PR of 7.96 in the 60-meter dash to finish 112th of 121 athletes…Posted a PR of 1.78 meters in the high jump, finishing seventh of 14 at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (Feb. 19).
Cross Country 2023: Competed in three 8K races, beginning with the Dan Talbot Open (Sept. 29), when he finished third on the team and 40th of 48 overall with a PR of 41:42.95…Placed fifth on the team and 36th of 47 overall at the Cairn Cup (Oct. 11) in a time of 59:59.596…Finished fifth on the team and 144th of 144 at the Last Chance Run Fast meet (Oct. 20) in a time of 52:46.77.
Outdoor Track 2023: Did not compete.
Indoor Track 2022-23: Tied for fifth of 10 athletes in the high jump (1.75 meters) at the Bow-Tie Invitational (Dec. 9)…Ran with the 4x400 relay team (5:08.12), which finished fourth of four at the Collegeville Classic (Jan. 21).
Cross Country 2022: Ran in the 8K Dan Talbot Open (Oct. 1), finishing fifth on the Scarlet Raptors and 89th of 91 overall (42:51.0).
Outdoor Track 2022: Participated in two spring meets, competing once in the high jump and once with the 4x100 team…Made his debut at the Widener Invitational (April 23), finishing 11th of 13 with a high jump of 1.77 meters…Participated on the 4x100 team at the Lions Invitational, helping team post a 48.92 clocking and finishing fourth of four clubs.
