Rutgers-Camden Athletics

A transfer from Holy Family University, Nadir Paige joined the Rutgers-Camden indoor track program during the 2023-24 winter and continued with the outdoor program in the spring. A standout sprinter, he also added academic honors during both of his semesters at Rutgers-Camden.
 
Academics: Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2023 Fall and 2024 Spring semesters…Dean’s List student.
 
Outdoor Track 2024: Competed in three different sprint events over the course of five meets…Finished 25th of 96 in the 100-meter dash (11.29) and 57th of 90 in the 200-meter dash (24.07) at the Danny Curran Invitational (March 30)…Placed 10th of 40 at 100 meters (11.68) and second of seven with the 4x100 relay team (44.16) at the Ursinus College Track & Field Festival (April 6)…Finished 13th of 28 at 100 meters (11.47) and third of 11 with the 4x100 team (44.05) at the TCNJ Invitational (April 13)…Notched PR’s at both 100 meters (11.24, 19th of 78) and 200 meters (22.54, 26th of 101) at the Paul Donahue Invitational (April 20), while also finishing ninth of 18 with the 4x100 relay team (44.23)…Set a PR of 43.13 and finished 12th of 21 with the 4x100 relay team at the Penn Relays (April 26).
 
Indoor Track 2023-24: Appeared in six meets, beginning with the FastTrack Opener (Dec. 1) when he ran with the 4x400 relay team that finished 18th of 18 (3:47.19)…At the Bow-Tie Invitational (Dec. 18), finished fourth of 39 athletes in the unseeded 60-meter dash (7.16) and ninth of 14 with the 4x400 team (a PR of 3:46.58)…At the Collegeville Classic (Jan. 20), finished eighth of 36 in the preliminaries of the 60-meter dash (7.16) and sixth of eight in the finals (also 7.16), while placing 16th of 68 in the 200-meter dash (23.90) and eighth of 14 with the 4x400 team (3:47.00)…Qualified for the 60-meter dash final by placing third of 32 in the preliminaries (7.11) and finished fourth of seven in the final (7.12), while helping the 4x200 team place third of 13 (1:34.64) at the Frank Colden Invitational (Feb. 3)…In the all-division FastTrack National Invite (Feb. 9), finished 23rd of 121 in the 60-meter dash (a PR of 7.10) and 42nd of 121 in the 200-meter dash (22.89)…Had a stellar meet at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (Feb. 19), placing 10th of 22 in the 60-meter dash (7.16) and setting a pair of PR times at 200 meters (22.87, finishing 11th of 23) and with the 4x200 team (1:31.80, placing fourth of eight teams).
 
Pre-Rutgers: Competed during his freshman season on the track team at Holy Family University in Philadelphia.
 
High School: Earned letters in indoor and outdoor track at Pennsauken High School for Coach Clinton Tabb…Captured All-American indoor honors with the 4x200 team at the Nike Nationals and All-American outdoor honors in the 4x200 at the New Balance Nationals as a senior…Posted a 3.2 GPA…Graduated in 2022.
