Biography

Sprinter Trey Williams joined the Rutgers-Camden outdoor track program for the 2023 spring season.
 
Outdoor Track 2023: Competed in seven meets, including six with the 4x100 relay team, three apiece in the 100- and 200-meter dashes and once in the 400-meter dash…Made his Rutgers-Camden debut in the 400-meter dash (39th of 46, 1:04.98) at the season-opening Stockton Invitational (March 25)…Ran the 200-meter dash (25:35, 82nd of 107) and the 4x100 (51.39, 11th of 11) for the first time at the Danny Curran Invitational (April 1)…Posted a PR of 42.93 (11th of 13) in the 4x100 at the Osprey Open (April 8)…Ran the 100-meter dash for the first time and set a PR of 12.51 (75th of 90), while also helping to post a 47.71 clocking in the 4x100 (12th of 12) at the Widener Invitational (April 22)…Competed in three events at the Lions Invitational (April 29), running the 100-meter dash (12.59, 46th of 62), the 200-meter dash (25.46, 57th of 78) and the 4x100 relay (47.23, fourth of eight)…Set a PR of 24.77 in the 200-meter dash (28th of 32) and also posted a 12.53 time at 100 meters (27th of 30) on the first day of the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (May 6)…The next day at the NJAC meet, finished ninth of 10 in the 4x100 relay (47.26).
 
High School: Graduated from Columbia High School in 2021.
 
Personal: Born December 18, 2002…Trevon “Trey” Williams…Hobbies and interests include reading, playing ball or working out, “and I like to find new ways to make money”…Business Management major at Rutgers-Camden…Post-graduation plans include possibly becoming “an artist like Michael Jackson. I want to have shows so filled that people pass out”…Trey is the son of Zenobia Williams of Maplewood.
