Yanelli Rodriguez made her collegiate athletic debut during the 2019-20 winter as a member of the Rutgers-Camden women’s indoor track program.
 
Academics: Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2019 Fall and 2020 Spring semesters…Dean’s List student.
  Indoor Track 2019-20: Competed in six meets in three different events, mainly the 400-meter dash, which she ran four times…At the Fastrack Season Opener (Dec. 6), set her 400-meter PR (1:14.03) while finishing 38th of 43 in the event…Placed 32nd of 36 at 400 meters (1:18.19) at the Collegeville Classic (Jan. 25)…Finished 47th of 48 at 400 meters (1:18.46) and 17th of 19 in the 4x200 relay (a PR of 2:11.45) at the Frank Colden Invitational (Feb. 8)…At the Susquehanna Invitational (Feb. 15), posted a 400-meter time (1:16.53) to finish 33rd of 33…Ran with the 4x400 relay team at both the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships on Feb. 24 (ninth of nine, 4:57.07) and the ECAC Championships on March 7 (fourth of five, a PR of 4:44.24).
 
High School: Earned varsity letters in track & field and cross country at Buena High School for Coach Michelle Burns…Renaissance Award for a 3.0 GPA all four years of high school…Graduated in 2019.
 
Personal: Born June 29, 2001…Hobbies include running, cooking, baking, cleaning, drawing, taking naps, eating, traveling and going to the beach and swimming…Undeclared major…Plans to “get a degree in something that I love and hopefully become a teacher and give back to my community”…Yanelli is the daughter of Teresa Anguiano.
