Alexis Schauer appeared in 56 games over her four-year Rutgers-Camden softball career, starting 25 while also serving as a valuable pinch-hitter. One of the school’s top students, she also earned numerous academic honors at Rutgers-Camden and in the New Jersey Athletic Conference.

Softball 2022: Appeared in 21 games, starting 14 (one at catcher and 13 as the designated player)…Hit .200, but tied for the team lead with 12 RBIs…Walked five times and was hit by a pitch twice to compile a .308 on-base percentage…Had three doubles and two runs scored…Successful on her lone stolen base attempt…Added two sacrifices…Posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage (four putouts, two assists)…Went 1-for-3 with one run, one RBI and one HBP in the season opener against SUNY-New Paltz (March 4, Game 1)…Was 1-for-2 with two RBI against New Jersey City (April 2, Game 2)…Collected three RBIs and scored one run against William Paterson (April 9, Game 2)…Also had three RBIs, going 1-for-2 with a double, against Ramapo (April 16, Game 2)…Went 1-for-2 with two sacrifices and two RBIs against Stockton (April 26, Game 2)…Had two hits apiece against The College of New Jersey (2-for-3, April 24, Game 1) and Kean (2-for-4, including a double, April 30, Game 2).
Softball 2021: Appeared in 17 games, starting eight as the team’s designated player…Led the Scarlet Raptors with a .375 batting average (9-for-24), eight walks and a .531 on-base percentage…Finished second on the team with a .458 slugging percentage…Tied for second on the team with eight runs scored…Had two doubles, three RBIs and two sacrifices…Had an outstanding walk to strikeout ratio, drawing eight walks while striking out only once…Went 1-for-2 with a walk, one RBI and two runs in the first game of a doubleheader against New Jersey City (April 3)…Went 2-for-3 with two runs in the nightcap of that doubleheader…Went 2-for-2 with one walk, one run and one RBI in a 6-3 win over Montclair State (April 10, Game One)…Drew two walks and scored one run in the nightcap against Montclair State…Had a game-tying pinch-hit RBI double with two outs in the sixth inning of an eventual 4-3 eight-inning Raptor win over Rutgers-Newark (May 1, Game One).
Softball 2020: Appeared in one game during the abbreviated 2020 season, which was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic…Went 0-for-1 as a pinch-hitter in the nightcap of a doubleheader against Gwynedd Mercy (March 10)…Grounded out to shortstop in the fourth inning of the Raptors’ eventual 11-5 victory.
Softball 2019: Played in 17 games, starting three at second base…Mainly saw action as a pinch-hitter…Hit .235 with four RBIs, five walks and one sacrifice fly…Successful on her lone stolen base attempt…Compiled a .391 on-base percentage…Defensively had three assists and one error for a .750 fielding percentage…Made her collegiate debut in a start at second base against McDaniel (March 22), going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI, while adding two assists...In the Raptors’ second game on March 22, against Western New England, started at second base and had three walks in her three plate appearances, while adding one assist in the field…Had a pinch-hit single in the seventh inning against Catholic University (April 17, Game One)…In a doubleheader against William Paterson (April 19), collected a pinch-hit sacrifice fly in the second inning of the opener and went 1-for-1 in the nightcap as the DP…Drew a RBI walk to account for the Scarlet Raptors’ lone run in a 2-1 loss against Rutgers-Newark (April 28, Game Two).
