Assistant Coach         Megan Katzmar (4th season)
High School:               Holy Cross
College:                      Stockton University (2021)
Major:                         Criminal Justice

Megan Katzmar joined the Rutgers-Camden coaching staff in 2022 after completing her collegiate softball career at New Jersey Athletic Conference rival Stockton University. She returns for her fourth season this spring.

Katzmar played for the Ospreys from 2017-2021, taking advantage of the extra year of eligibility caused by the COVID-shortened two-game 2020 season. She appeared in 98 games with the Ospreys and also was a two-time NJAC Academic Honorable Mention student.

The first baseman started 20 of her 25 career starts in 2021, when she led the NJAC in defensive chances (201) and tied for the conference lead in putouts (188). She also tied for second in the NJAC with six double plays and hit her first career home run, belting a grand slam during a four-hit, seven-RBI game against Ramapo on April 24, 2021.

During the 2018 season, Katzmar hit .385 with 22 RBIs, including 14 two-out RBIs to tie for seventh in the NJAC in that category. She led the conference in pinch hits (12) and pinch-hit at bats (15), hitting .480 in that role. She also led the conference in pinch hits (six) and pinch-hit at bats (224) in 2019.

A Criminal Justice major, she graduated from Stockton in 2021.
