Biography

Emily Dubiago has started all her 101 career games at Rutgers-Camden, while posting a .293 batting average with 26 runs and 31 RBIs. Through her first three seasons, Dubiago has compiled 72 career hits, 28 shy of joining only 14 players to reach 100 hits in program history.
 
A Criminal Justice major, she also has added academic honors.
 
Academics: Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2023 Spring, 2024 Spring and 2024 Fall semesters.
 
Softball 2024: Started all 40 of her games, including 35 in left field, three in right field and two as the designated player…Finished second on the team in hitting with a .309 average (29-for-94)…Tied for the team lead with 10 sacrifices…Tied for second on the team with 13 RBIs…Scored 11 runs…Had two doubles, six walks and was hit by a pitch twice…Compiled a .330 slugging percentage and a .363 on-base percentage…Successful on all four stolen base attempts…Defensively, had 34 putouts and three assists…Led the team by hitting .423 (11-for-26) with runners in scoring position…Had six multiple-hit games, including a 3-for-4 game with two runs and three RBIs in the season opener against Carroll (March 9) and a 3-for-5 contest with one RBI in the nightcap of a Neumann doubleheader (April 25)…Fashioned a six-game hitting streak April 13-18 (8-for-16, .500) and a five-game hitting streak April 25-30 (7-for-13, .538)…Played in her 100th career game against Kean in the NJAC playoffs (April 30), going 1-for-3 with a walk and one RBI…Had two RBIs om the opening game of a Montclair State doubleheader (April 6), going 1-for-3…Had a season high of four putouts against Catholic (Game Two, April 18)…Collected outfield assists against Carroll (March 9), Wesleyan (March 12) and Stockton (Game Two, April 16).
 
Softball 2023: Started all 34 Rutgers-Camden games in left field…Finished second among all Raptor regulars with a .322 batting average…Second on the team in hits (28)…Tied for second on the club in stolen bases (4) and fifth in runs (9)…Added six RBIs, two walks, two doubles and four sacrifices…Had a .345 slugging percentage and a .344 on-base percentage…Compiled a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage in left field with 28 putouts and two assists in 30 chances…Had a 14-game hitting streak (March 16-April 11) for the second-longest streak on the team in 2023 and tied for the sixth-longest in program history…During her hitting streak she went 19-for-35 and had a slash line of .543/.571/.579, while scoring six runs, collecting five RBIs, adding one double, two walks, one stolen base (in two attempts) and getting hit once by a pitch…Tied for second on the team with six multiple-hit games, starting with a 2-for-3, two-RBI game against Nichols (March 16)…Also went 2-for-3 against Gwynedd Mercy (March 20, Game Two, adding one RBI and one run), New Jersey City (April 1, Game One, with one run and one RBI) and Rowan (April 4, Game Two)…Went 2-for-2 with one run against Montclair State (April 11, Game One) and 2-for-2 with a double against Kean (April 28, Game One)…Had her season high of three putouts in the openers of doubleheaders against SUNY-New Paltz (Feb. 23) and Ramapo (April 16)…Collected one assist in the second game of doubleheaders against Catholic (March 30) and William Paterson (April 7).
 
Softball 2022: Started all of the Scarlet Raptors’ 27 games in right field, hitting .231 with six runs and tying for the team lead with 12 RBIs…Had three doubles to post a .277 slugging percentage…Added five walks and posted a .286 on-base percentage…Went 1-for-1 on stolen base attempts and added two sacrifices…Defensively, collected 30 putouts six assists and two double plays…Posted a .923 fielding percentage…Made her collegiate debut in the season opener against SUNY-New Paltz (March 4), going 1-for-3 with one walk, one run and one RBI, while collecting one assist…Was 3-for-3 with one run, two doubles and three RBIs against St. Norbert (March 14)…Went 1-for-3 with two RBIs against Cortland (March 18)…Had three RBIs in the opener of a doubleheader against Ramapo (April 16), going 1-for-2 with one walk…Went 2-for-3 in the first game of a doubleheader against Rutgers-Newark (April 28)…Had her lone stolen base against Stockton (April 26, Game 1)…Her four putouts against Wheaton (March 13) were a season high and she also went 1-for-2 with one run and her first collegiate sacrifice in that game.
 
High School: Softball letterwinner at Jackson Liberty High School for Coach Laura Borelli….Also lettered with the soccer program…Graduated in 2021.

Personal: Born November 12, 2002…Last name pronounced “do-bee-AH-go”…Hobbies and interests, other than softball, include snowboarding, spending time with her dog and long boarding at the beach…Criminal Justice major at Rutgers-Camden who plans to head into some type of law enforcement field and hopefully pursue her Master’s degree…Emily is the daughter of Lou Anne and Steve Dubiago of Jackson.
