Rutgers-Camden was blessed with Kamryn Kennedy’s talents for only two seasons after she opened her collegiate career playing two years at Rowan College of South Jersey. During her two years as a Scarlet Raptor, however, Kennedy made quite an impact on the program, compiling a .301 batting average (30-for-126) and earning New Jersey Athletic Conference honors on the playing field and in the classroom. She capped her senior season earning a berth on the All-NJAC First Team.

Softball 2024: New Jersey Athletic Conference First Team…Appeared in 28 games, starting 26 (25 as the designated player and one in right field) during a season which saw her miss most of the Raptors’ games in March due to an injury…Hit .301 (28-for-93) with four runs, four doubles, nine RBIs and six walks…Also was hit by a pitch once to compile a .350 on-base percentage…Had three multiple-RBI games and six multiple-hit games…Her nine-game hitting streak from March 30-April 16 (11-for-33, .333) tied for the second-longest streak on the team in 2024…Prior to being sidelined, started her season 2-for-4 with one run, one walk and one double against Carroll and 4-for-5 with a double, a walk and two RBIs against Wentworth Institute of Technology in a split doubleheader on March 9…Went 3-for-4 with one double in the second game of a Montclair State twinbill (April 6)…Had a huge doubleheader against William Paterson (April 20), going 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs in the opener and 3-for-4 with one run and two RBIs in the nightcap…Went 3-for-7 with two RBIs in a doubleheader at Rutgers-Newark (April 27)…Ended the season with a four-game hitting streak (5-for-14, .357).
Softball 2023: Appeared in 15 games, starting 10…Hit .333 (11-for-33) with three doubles, one triple and two home runs…Tied for first on the team in triples and finished second in home runs…Added four runs and six RBIs…Produced a .667 slugging percentage and a .389 on-base percentage…Made her Rutgers-Camden debut as the starting right fielder in the second game of the season-opening doubleheader against SUNY-New Paltz (Feb. 23) and tripled in her first at bat to produce the first of only two Raptor hits…Was hit by a pitch in her second plate appearance in that game and also had three putouts in the outfield, setting her high for the season which was tied again against Rutgers-Newark (April 22, Game Two)…Had seven total bases against The College of New Jersey (April 18, Game Two, going 3-for-4 with a double, a home run, two runs and three RBIs) to tie for the most single-game total bases by one player during the season…Went 2-for-4 with a double and her first Raptor home run, a solo shot, in the second game of a doubleheader against Gwynedd Mercy (March 20)…In three pinch-hitting appearances, went 1-for-2 and added a walk.
Pre-Rutgers: Played two seasons of softball for the Roadrunners at RCSJ-Gloucester…During the 2021 season had a slash line of .425/.500.529 in 30 games, with five doubles, two triples, 28 runs scored and 17 RBIs…Had 12 walks, was hit by a pitch twice, added one sacrifice fly and six sacrifices, while going 3-for-4 on stolen base attempts…In 2022, played in 48 games and compiled a slash line of .422/.475/.477…Scored 35 runs and drove home 23…Had five doubles and one triple, while reaching base 12 times on walks and once as a hit batsman…Added five sacrifices and was 6-for-6 on stolen base attempts…Overall, in 78 games at RCSJ, hit .423 with 63 runs, 40 RBIs, 10 doubles and three triples…Had 24 walks, three HBP, one sacrifice fly and 11 sacrifices…Only struck out 11 times in 215 at bats…Went 9-for-10 on stolen base attempts…Also compiled a .983 fielding percentage at second base with 133 putouts, 94 assists and only four errors in 231 chances…Turned six double plays.
High School: Earned six varsity letters at Highland Regional High School, including four in softball for Coach Jamie Minix…Also earned two varsity basketball letters for the Tartans…Graduated in 2019.
