Karlie Kennedy provided two of the most electrifying hits of the 2021 Rutgers-Camden softball season with a pair of clutch home runs. Those shots added more highlights to a career that has seen her earn all-conference honors on both the softball diamond and in the classroom, along with Rookie of the Week recognition and a host of other academic honors.

In 49 games (40 starts) at Rutgers-Camden, Kennedy has compiled a .263 batting average with 14 RBIs and 12 runs. She owns four doubles, three triples and two home runs, has been successful on all six of her stolen base attempts, and has delivered five sacrifices and one sacrifice fly. She owns a .404 career slugging percentage.

Softball 2021: Played in 18 games, making 13 starts (nine as the designated player, two in left field and two in right field)…Hit .233 with a team-leading .465 slugging percentage…Had two doubles, tied for the club lead with one triple and led the Raptors with two home runs…Scored five runs and tied for the team lead with seven RBIs…Added one sacrifice fly…Notched one putout in her lone outfield chance to compile a 1.000 fielding percentage…Drilled a two-out, pinch-hit grand slam in the bottom of the fifth inning to lift the Scarlet Raptors to a 6-3 win over Montclair State (April 10, Game One)…Went 4-for-7 with two runs and two RBIs in a doubleheader sweep over Rutgers-Newark (May 1), including a game-winning two-run home run in the bottom of the eighth inning for a 4-3 win in the opener…Sparked the game-winning two-run rally in the bottom of the seventh inning of a NJAC playoff game against New Jersey City (May 4), beating out an infield single with two outs in the frame and eventually scoring the tying run in a 2-1 win…Had a sacrifice fly for an RBI against Kean (April 17, Game Two)…Went 2-for-4 with a double against William Paterson (April 24, Game One).

Softball 2020: Appeared in one game, flying out to center field in her lone at bat against Gwynedd Mercy (March 10, Game Two)…Had one putout in right field in her only defensive chance, posting a 1.000 fielding percentage.

Softball 2019: New Jersey Athletic Conference Honorable Mention…NJAC Rookie of the Week (April 22)…Played in 30 games, starting 27 (23 in right field and four at second base)...Fifth on the team in hitting (.286)…Led the team with two triples…Produced seven RBIs and scored seven runs…Added two doubles and three walks…Went a perfect 6-for-6 on stolen base attempts…Had a .371 slugging percentage (third on the team) and a .315 on-base percentage…Added four sacrifices…Defensively, posted a .939 fielding percentage with 45 putouts, one assist and three errors (two of them at second base)…Had a five-game hitting streak from April 16-19 (8-for-19, .421)…Notched four multiple-hit games, including a 3-for-4 game with two runs scored and one stolen base in the nightcap of a doubleheader against William Paterson (April 19)…In the opener of that doubleheader, went 2-for-4 with a triple, one run, one RBI and a stolen base…Made her collegiate debut as the starting right fielder in the season opener against Tufts (March 17), going 0-for-3 and collecting three putouts…Collected a single for her first collegiate hit, going 1-for-2 with one RBI and ne sacrifice, as the starting right fielder against Geneva (March 18)…Tied for the team lead with two multiple-RBI games, the first coming in the nightcap of a doubleheader against New Jersey City (March 30), when she went 2-for-3 with a double, one run, two RBIs and one stolen base…Also went 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs in the second game of a twinbill against Montclair State (April 6)…Had her season high of five putouts against Rutgers-Newark (April 28, Game Two), while going 1-for-3 at the plate in a start at second base.
