Biography

Olivia Bull served as the Scarlet Raptors’ starting catcher during her second season with the Rutgers-Camden softball program in 2022. She played briefly in 2023, hiking her career totals to 50 career games with 42 starts.
 
Academics: Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2020 Fall, 2022 Spring and 2022 Fall semesters…Dean’s List student.
 
Softball 2023: Played in five early-season games, starting all of them at catcher while starting the year as a team co-captain…Hit .167 (2-for-12) with one run, one RBI, one walk and one sacrifice…Had 23 putouts and two assists…Went 1-for-2 with a sacrifice and six putouts in the season opener against SUNY-New Paltz (Feb. 23)…Went 1-for-3 with ne RBI against Wentworth (March 11)…Scored her lone run and had six putouts and one assist against Benedictine (March 11)…Drew her lone walk against Clarkson (March 12).
 
Softball 2022: Played in 26 of the Scarlet Raptors’ 27 games, starting all 26…Hit .156 (10-for-64) with 11 runs and four RBIs…Second on the team with eight stolen bases (in 10 attempts)…Walked seven times and was hit by pitch twice for a .260 on-base percentage…Collected four sacrifices…Had 71 putouts and 22 assists, while adding one double play…Posted a .969 fielding percentage…Went 2-for-2 with one sacrifice, one putout and one assist against FDU-Florham (March 14)…In the Raptors’ second game on March 14, playing St. Norbert, stole four bases in four attempts, one steal shy of the program’s single-game record…Went 2-for-3 with one run, one RBI, one walk and two stolen bases against William Paterson (April 9, Game 1)…In the nightcap of a doubleheader against Rutgers-Newark (April 28), went 2-for-3 with one run and two RBIs…Had a season-high six putouts against New Jersey City (April 2, Game 1)…Had her high of three assists during the first game of a doubleheader against Montclair State (April 12).
 
Softball 2021: Played in 19 games, starting 11 (seven at catcher and four as the designated player)…Hit .182 with a double, five runs and five RBIs…Added two walks, two sacrifices and one sacrifice fly…Defensively, collected 41 putouts (tying for third on the team) and one assist in 42 total chances, the 10th-highest single-season amount of chances with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage in program history…Collected her first collegiate hit with a RBI single during a nine-run third inning at New Jersey City (April 3, Game One)…Went 2-for-3 with one run and two RBIs in that game, which marked her first collegiate game, a start at catcher…She notched her season high of 11 putouts in the contest, one of two double-digit putout games she collected during the season…In the nightcap of that doubleheader, went 1-for-1 with two runs and one RBI, while adding her first collegiate walk and stolen base…Had a RBI double in the top of the seventh inning at Ramapo College (April 6, Game One) to spark a three-run frame and help Rutgers-Camden post a 6-0 win…That Ramapo game saw her go 1-for-2 with the double, two runs and one RBI, while adding a sacrifice and 10 putouts…Collected a sacrifice fly against Stockton (April 20, Game Two).
