Ryleigh Lender had a spectacular season in her collegiate debut in 2025, cementing her role as the Scarlet Raptors’ centerfielder, hitting .349 and capping the year earning New Jersey Athletic Conference Honorable Mention recognition.

Lender led the team by reaching base eight times as a hit batsman, the fifth-highest single-season total in program history and a mark that places her tied for 13th place on the career chart after only one season.

Academics: Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and a Dean’s List student for the 2024 Fall and 2025 Spring semesters…One of only 23 athletes on the 167-member 2024 Fall AD Honor Roll to earn a 4.0 GPA.

Softball 2025: Played in all 35 Rutgers-Camden games, starting 33…NJAC Honorable Mention…Led the team with eight HBP, nine doubles, 45 total bases, a .523 slugging percentage and a .446 on-base percentage…Tied for the team lead with 15 RBIs and two home runs…Finished second on the team with a .349 batting average…Scored 12 runs, walked seven times and went 3-for-5 on stolen base attempts…Added one sacrifice…Defensively, collected 41 putouts and five assists…Had a pair of five-game hitting streaks (April 9-13, 5-for-11, .455 and April 15-22, 7-for-13, .538)…Had three four-game hitting streaks (Feb. 28-March 15, 4-for-10, .400, March 16-19, 5-for-11, .455 and March 27-29, 6-for-12 .500)…Collected multiple RBIs on three occasions, including a high of three in the opener of a Gwynedd Mercy doubleheader (March 27), when she went 2-for-4 with one run scored and her first collegiate home run…Hit her second collegiate home run in the nightcap, going 2-for-3 with one run and two RBIs…Had six multi-hit games, capping her season in the Raptors’ final game, the nightcap of a doubleheader against Rutgers-Newark (April 27), when she went 3-for-3 with two runs, two RBIs, two doubles and one HBP…Defensively, she had four putouts on four occasions, including the opener of a doubleheader against The College of New Jersey (April 9), when she also added an outfield assist.
