Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Alyssa Molina has appeared in 20 games during her two seasons with the Rutgers-Camden women’s soccer program, while adding numerous academic honors.
 
Academics: New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Honorable Mention for the 2019-20 scholastic year…Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2018 Fall, 2019 Spring, 2019 Fall and 2020 Spring semesters…Dean’s List student for the 2018 Fall, 2019 Fall and 2020 Spring semesters.
 
Soccer 2019: Played in five games…Made her season debut against Elizabethtown (Aug. 30) in the Raptors’ opener…Played 22 minutes against Washington College (Sept. 7)…Played a season high of 66 minutes against Ursinus (Oct. 23).
 
Soccer 2018: Played in 15 games, starting one…Took three shots, including one on goal…Made her collegiate debut by playing 25 minutes in a season-opening 4-2 loss at Elizabethtown College (Aug. 31)…Played 47 minutes and took one shot (on goal) in a 1-0 win over Lancaster Bible College (Sept. 5)…The Lancaster Bible game was the first of five Raptor shutouts in which she saw action…She also contributed to shutouts against Rosemont College (2-0, Sept. 17), New Jersey City University (4-0, Sept. 29), Ramapo College (2-0, Oct. 13) and William Paterson University (2-0, Oct. 20)…Made her first collegiate start in a 2-1 win at Kean University (Sept. 22).
 
High School: Multi-sport letterwinner at Roxbury High School…Captured four letters in soccer and two in track…Earned the “Most Improved” Soccer Player Award as a freshman…Four-year Honor Roll student.
 
Club Team: Morris United STA 99/00…Team captain for two years.
 
Personal: Born February 4, 2000…Nicknamed “Lyss”…Enjoys watching Netflix, spending time with friends and family, going to the movies, hiking and going to the beach…Biology major at Rutgers-Camden…Plans to attend graduate school for marine biology…Alyssa is the daughter of Karen and Lou Molina of Roxbury.
