A transfer from Rowan College of South Jersey-Cumberland, Ana Patiño joins the Rutgers-Camden women’s soccer program this fall.
 
Pre-Rutgers: Lettered on the soccer, basketball and track & field team at Rowan College of South Jersey – Cumberland…Was named the Winter Female Athlete of the Season for the 2024-25 scholastic year…Earned the Women’s Basketball Coaches Award in 2024…Was the first female track and field athlete in the college’s history.
 
High School: Recognized as a Bridgeton High School Scholar-Athlete for the 2022-23 scholastic year…Graduated from Bridgeton High School in 2023.
 
Personal: Born August 8, 2005…Hobbies and interests include playing sports, working out, reading, listening to podcasts, spending time with family and friends, and going to church…Psychology major at Rutgers-Camden who plans to pursue a career in the medical field…”I want to help others overcome challenges and heal from trauma while continuing to stay involved in athletics and health sciences.”…Ana is the daughter of Camilo Patiño and Paola Cárdenas of Vineland.
