Biography
Ashley Schlagenhaft played a key role as a defensive starter for the Scarlet Raptors during her freshman season at Rutgers-Camden. She also added academic honors during her first collegiate year.
Academics: Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2024 Fall and 2025 Spring semesters.
Soccer 2024: Played in 15 games, starting 13…Scored one goal for two points…Took two shots, both on goal…Made her collegiate debut in the Raptors’ second game of the season, a 1-0 loss at St. Mary’s (August 31)…Started her first of 13 straight games and contributed to a 0-0 shutout at Washington College (Sept. 11)…Also contributed to shutouts against King’s College (3-0, Sept. 15), Bryn Athyn (4-0, Sept. 18), Arcadia (2-0, Sept. 24), Ramapo (1-0, Sept. 27) and FDU-Florham (Oct. 9) as she started all six of the Scarlet Raptors’ shutouts…Scored her first collegiate goal, on her first shot, in the win over Bryn Athyn…Took her only other shot during a 5-2 win over John Jay (Sept. 21).
High School: Four-year soccer letterwinner at Brick Memorial High School for Coach William Caruso…All-A South First Team…All-County First Team…All-Group 3 First Team…All-Shore Second Team…Honor Roll student…Graduated in 2024.
