A transfer who played previously at Juniata College, Casandra Torres will strengthen the Scarlet Raptors’ midfield in 2015.
 
Pre-Rutgers: Played two seasons at Juniata College in 2011 and 2012…Played 10 games, starting two, as a freshman midfielder, in 2011…Notched two goals…Scored her first collegiate goal against Pitt-Greensburg (Sept. 2)…Notched a goal in a 3-3 tie against Potsdam State in the Alfred University Labor Day Classic (Sept. 4)…Played in three games in 2012.
 
High School: Attended both St. Mary’s Hall and Doane Academy, earning four soccer letters and three in softball…Played soccer at Doane for Coach Mary Ann Williamson…Played in the Conference All-Star Game during her senior season in 2011.
 
Personal: Born June 21, 1993…Played club soccer for FC Delco (2007-2008) and for FC Copa (2009-2011)…Enjoys hanging out with her family and vacationing…Accounting major at Rutgers-Camden whose post-graduation plans include passing the CPA exam…Casandra is the daughter of Edgar and Carmen Torres of Mount Holly.
