Barry Lynch has been immersed in soccer experiences for years, as a player, coach and trainer on the national and international levels. This season he brings his vast knowledge to Rutgers University-Camden, where he will serve as an assistant coach under first-year Head Coach Steve Weaver.
 
Lynch has played with numerous teams in the United Kingdom, including the Sheffield United Football Club in Sheffield, England. He played with national teams in Wales (U16 and Wales School Representative), was the captain or club and schools teams in Gwent County, was an English Schools Cup Winner, captained the semi-pro Cwmbran Town team and played with the Professional Academy Newport County.
 
Lynch has been a physical education teacher, a personal trainer and a Professional Academy Soccer Coach (Cardiff City Football Club) in his native Wales, was the owner of the Liverpool FC International Academy. Here in the United States, he has served as the Western Lehigh United Soccer Club Director of Coaching and was the Head Coach of the AC Crusaders of the National Premier Soccer League.
 
His numerous professional awards and licenses include a USSF A License, USSF B License, UEFA B License – Football Coaching Award, UEFA C License – Football Coaching Award, FA Level 1 Coaching License, Brazilian National Futbol C License, NSCAA Advanced Regional Diploma, NSCAA Regional Diploma, World Amateur Body Building Association Fitness Instructors Award, NVQ Level 2 Cardiovascular Machine Training, NVQ Level 2 Resistance Machine Training and EMP IL Medic First Aid Course.
