Vol. Assistant Coach Kaitlyn Ennis (1st season)

After completing her athletic eligibility in soccer last fall, Kaitlyn Ennis will serve as a volunteer assistant coach with the Scarlet Raptors’ program this season while she completes her academic degree in Health Sciences.
A two-sport standout at Rutgers-Camden, Ennis earned New Jersey Athletic Conference Honorable Mention last fall as a play-making soccer midfielder before missing the spring lacrosse season with an injury. She started all 16 of the Scarlet Raptors’ soccer games during both the 2016 and 2017 seasons, as well as all 16 lacrosse games in 2017.
An outstanding student as well, she captured NJAC Academic Honorable Mention for the 2017-18 scholastic year and has been a member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll during all four semesters she has attended the school. She also has served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
A transfer student who came to Rutgers-Camden during the 2016 fall semester, Ennis played two seasons of soccer (2014, 2015) and one of lacrosse (2015) at Wesley College. She earned CAC All-Academic honors for both sports at Wesley.
During her 32 soccer games at Rutgers-Camden, Ennis collected one goal and five assists for seven points. In her lone lacrosse season with the Scarlet Raptors, she set the program’s single-season mark with 30 caused turnovers, while also adding 45 ground balls, a total that is tied for the third-highest season mark in Rutgers-Camden history. During the 2017 season, she also tied for the team lead with 46 draw controls (tied for eighth among single-season program records) and collected 21 goals and 12 assists for 33 points. She was named Rutgers-Camden’s Raptor of the Week on March 6, 2017.
During her playing career at Wesley College, she started all 35 games for the Wolverines in her two-year soccer career, notching five goals and six assists for 16 points. She played in all 16 Wesley lacrosse games in 2015, starting 13, and notching 19 goals and eight assists for 27 points. She led the team in both ground balls and draw controls, with 41 apiece.
A four-year scholastic varsity letterwinner in both soccer and lacrosse at Northern Burlington High School, Ennis captured All-Conference Second Team honors in both sports during her sophomore, junior and senior seasons. She was named to the Honor Roll all four years at Northern Burlington.
