During his first season as an assistant coach at Rutgers-Camden, Ryan Gill helped the Scarlet Raptors compile their best winning percentage (.438) since the 2008 season and barely miss a berth in the New Jersey Athletic Conference playoffs. He returns for his second season in 2016.

A former standout goalkeeper at NJAC rival Rowan University, Gill has served as an assistant coach at Triton Regional High School in Runnemede and is a member of the American Soccer League’s Philadelphia Fury.

After appearing in seven games as a freshman at Methodist University in North Carolina, Gill transferred to Rowan University, where he appeared in 47 games during his three-year career with the Profs. He was named to the NJAC Second Team during his sophomore season in 2011 and captured NJAC Honorable Mention as a senior. He posted an 18-14 record, 11 shutouts and a 1.34 goals-against average during his career with the Profs.

Gill served as an intern with the Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce during the 2010-11 scholastic year. He graduated from Rowan in May, 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing.

Gill became an assistant soccer coach at Triton in July 2014, the same month he started his career with the Philadelphia Fury. He also serves as a manager for Red Eagle Produce in Woodbury.

During his scholastic soccer career at West Deptford High School, Gill captured All-County, All-Conference, All-South Jersey and All-State honors. He also was a member of the National Honor Society.
