Rutgers-Camden Athletics

After two years at Rowan College of South Jersey, Emily Martin joined the Rutgers-Camden women’s soccer team during the 2022 fall semester and also added academic honors.
 
Academics: Dean’s List student…Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2022 Fall and 2023 Spring semesters.
 
Soccer 2022: Appeared in seven games for the Scarlet Raptors…Made her Rutgers-Camden debut during a 2-0 loss at Washington College (Sept. 10)…Played four of her games against some of the top teams in the country during contests against Messiah (Sept. 21), Rowan (Oct. 12), Montclair State (Oct. 22) and The College of New Jersey (Oct. 26)…Contributed to New Jersey Athletic Conference wins over William Paterson (4-1, Sept. 24) and New Jersey City (3-1, Oct. 1).
 
Pre-Rutgers: Played two seasons of soccer for the Roadrunners at Rowan College of South Jersey.
 
High School: Earned four varsity soccer letters at Triton Regional High School for Coach Danielle Spinuza…Served as the team captain during her senior year…Principal’s List student…Graduated in 2020.
 
Club Team: United Fever 02
 
Personal: Born September 13, 2002…Nicknamed “Em&m”…Noting her interests, she says “If I’m not on the field or in school, you’ll likely find me spending time with my dog (Buddy). There’s  also a strong chance you can find me at Target.”…Biology major at Rutgers-Camden who plans to attend medical school in hopes of one day becoming an orthopedic surgeon…Emily is the daughter of Joy and Bert Martin of Bellmawr.
