Biography
After being hounded by injuries throughout her career, Jenna Peel returned to the soccer pitch in 2023 to appear in more games than she had managed to play during her previous two seasons combined. A stellar student, Peel has earned numerous academic honors at Rutgers-Camden.

Academics: New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Honorable Mention for the 2022-23 and 2023-24 scholastic years…Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2021 Fall, 2022 Spring, 2022 Fall, 2023 Spring, 2023 Fall and 2024 Spring semesters…Dean’s List student…One of only 30 athletes on the 138-member 2024 Spring AD Honor Roll to each a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Soccer 2023: Played in six games…Took one shot…Made her season debut in a 3-0 win over Neumann (Sept. 1), taking her lone shot while contributing to the shutout…Also helped the Raptors earn shutouts against King’s (3-0, Sept. 2) and Bryn Athyn (4-0, Sept. 16)…Contributed to a 3-1 win over Hartwick (Sept. 9) in the Mayor’s Cup Tournament on her birthday.

Soccer 2022: Played in two games before being sidelined the rest of the season with an injury…Appeared in the season opener against Lynchburg (Sept. 3) and the following game against Alvernia (Sept. 7)…Took her lone shot against Alvernia.

Soccer 2021: Played in two games…Took two shots, one on goal…Made her collegiate debut playing 45 minutes in a 2-1 loss against Adrian College (Sept. 4)…Played 11 minutes in a 3-0 win at New Jersey City University (Oct. 16), taking two shots.

High School: Captured three varsity soccer letters at Gloucester County Institute of Technology, playing for Coach Bryan Vahey…Added four varsity swimming letters…Graduated in 2021.

Personal: Born September 9, 2003…Hobbies include cooking, lifting and painting…Nursing major at Rutgers-Camden who plans to continue her education to become a nurse practitioner…Sister Melissa was an all-conference player as a four-year soccer star at Rutgers-Camden from 2015-18…Jenna is the daughter of Jeanette and Richard Peel of Gibbstown.
