Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Kylee Schairer had a fine season during her first year with the Rutgers-Camden women’s soccer program in 2015. A transfer from Burlington County College, Schairer was a member of the inaugural Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll (2015 fall semester) and repeated her Honor Roll recognition during the 2016 spring semester.
 
Schairer returns for her final year of collegiate eligibility this fall.
 
Soccer 2015: Played in 14 of the Scarlet Raptors’ 16 games, starting one…Tied for third on the team with two goals and tied for fourth with four points…Took 14 shots, seven on goal…Made her Scarlet Raptor debut playing 46 minutes in a 1-0 season-0pening loss against Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (Sept. 3), taking a pair of shots…Made her lone start of the season the next day in a 4-1 win over Cabrini College, playing 45 minutes and taking one shot…Scored both of her goals in a 5-0 win over New Jersey City University (Oct. 20)…Took four shots, three on goal, during the Raptors’ 2-0 shutout over the College of Staten Island (Oct. 26)…Played her season high of 81 minutes in a 0-0 tie at Stockton University (Oct. 29).
 
Pre-Rutgers: Played two seasons at Burlington County College…Collected two goals and three assists for seven points while helping the Barons capture the 2014 division championship.
 
High School: Earned four varsity soccer letters for Coach Lauren Bolis at Collingswood High School…Also captured one letter in lacrosse…2013 Collingswood graduate…Named team MVP during her junior and senior seasons…Ranks 14th for most goals scored in program history…Notched the Panthers’ first hat trick in 10 years…National Honor Society…National Foreign Language Honor Society (French)…Honor Roll student.   
 
Personal: Born September 20, 1995…Last name pronounced “Shy-er”…Enjoys soccer, painting and working…Childhood Studies major at Rutgers-Camden who plans to become a teacher in an urban area…Kylee is the daughter of Ron Schairer and Denise Voshell of Collingswood.
