Lindsey Rucci completed her stellar four-year career in 2021, playing in all of the Scarlet Raptors’ 17 games. A shutdown left back, Rucci finished her career starting 56 of her 60 games. She earned All-New Jersey Athletic Conference honors both on the soccer pitch and in the classroom.

Soccer 2021: Played in all 17 Raptor games, starting 16…Contributed to five shutouts and a 1.07 goals-against average…Played every minute in five games, including all 110 minutes during a 0-0 tie against Ursinus College (Oct. 20)…Took four shots, three of them on goal…Led the team to a 1-0 season-opening win over Elizabethtown (Sept. 2), a 0-0 tie against Kean University (Sept. 25), a 1-0 win at Goucher College (Oct. 6), a 3-0 victory at New Jersey City University (Oct. 16) and a 0-0 tie with Ursinus (Oct. 20)…Her strong defensive play helped the Raptors hold #5 Messiah University scoreless until late in the game of a 2-0 loss on the road (Sept. 21) and limit top-ranked The College of New Jersey to one lone goal in a 1-0 loss (Oct. 13).

Soccer 2020: Captured New Jersey Athletic Conference Honorable Mention…Started all seven games during the pandemic-shortened season, helping the team post a 0.28 goals-against average…Helped the team post five straight shutouts to open the season, tying the 2004 team for the longest shutout streak to open a season and also setting a mark for most consecutive shutouts against NJAC opponents…Helped the team post shutouts over Ramapo (March 10, 3-0), New Jersey City (March 17, 2-0), Stockton (March 20, 1-0), Kean (March 24, 2-0) and Montclair State (March 31, 0-0)…Played her season high of 93 minutes in that Montclair State overtime game…Helped the team earn the top seed in the NJAC playoffs for the first time in program history and capture a 3-1 win over Ramapo (April 10) in the NJAC semifinals…Took her lone shot of the season during the Raptors’ 1-0 loss against Montclair State (April 14) in the NJAC title game.

Soccer 2019:  Played in 17 games, starting 14…Took four shots, one on goal…Helped Raptors post two shutouts and limit opponents to two or fewer goals on 11 occasions…Played all 90 minutes in a 1-0 win over Rutgers-Newark (Oct. 12)…Played 107 of the 110 minutes in a 0-0 double-overtime game at Stockton (Nov. 2) in the New Jersey Athletic Conference playoffs…Also played the full 90 minutes at Stockton (Oct. 30) in the final regular-season game of the year…Took two shots against William Paterson (Oct. 26).

Soccer 2018: Started all 19 games for Rutgers-Camden…Helped team record six shutouts, including four in New Jersey Athletic Conference play…Helped team reach the NJAC and ECAC playoffs for the first time since 2007…Took two shots, including one on goal…Made her collegiate debut in the season opener, playing 58 minutes in a 4-2 loss at Elizabethtown College (Aug. 31)…Played 67 minutes to help the Raptors to a 1-0 shutout win over Lancaster Bible (Sept. 5)…Played her season high of 110 minutes and helped the Raptors record a 0-0 overtime tie against NJAC power Rowan University (Oct. 10)…That game was part of a seven-game stretch in which she played every minute of the game and included 2-0 NJAC wins over Ramapo College (Oct. 13) and William Paterson University (Oct. 20).
