Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Megan Ryan has appeared in 16 of the 24 games Rutgers-Camden has played over her first two seasons with the Scarlet Raptors, contributing to nine of the team’s shutouts during that time. She also has earned several academic honors.
 
Academics: New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Honorable Mention for the 2021-22 scholastic year…Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and a Dean’s List student for the 2020 Fall, 2021 Spring, 2021 Fall and 2022 Spring  semesters…One of only 27 athletes on the 125-member 2021 Spring AD Honor Roll to post a perfect 4.0 GPA.
 
Soccer 2021: Played in nine games, contributing to four of the Raptors’ five shutouts during the season…Earned her first career start and played 42 minutes during a 1-0 loss to Washington College (Sept. 11)…Played her season high of 51 minutes in a 2-1 loss against Adrian College (Sept. 4).
 
Soccer 2020: Appeared in six games during the brief seven-game season, which was played during the 2021 spring semester due to the pandemic…Made her collegiate debut playing 24 minutes in a 3-0 season-opening shutout at Ramapo College (March 10)…Helped the team post shutouts over New Jersey City (March 17, 2-0), Stockton (March 20, 1-0) and Kean (March 24, 2-0)…Played her season high of 64 minutes in another shutout, a 0-0 tie against Montclair State (March 31)…Helped the Raptors post a 3-1 win over Ramapo (April 10) in the New Jersey Athletic Conference semifinals, playing 38 minutes.
 
High School: Three-year varsity soccer letterwinner for Coach William McGroarty at Eastern Regional High School…Graduated in 2020.

Personal: Born November 21, 2001…Hobbies and interests include soccer, exercise, being around friends and family, and watching TV…Nursing major at Rutgers-Camden who plans to get a good job, get married and start a family…Megan is the daughter of Kim and Jim Ryan of Voorhees.
