A three-year letterwinner, Michelle Barbone returns for her final season with the Scarlet Raptors. She has played in 49 career games, starting 34, and collecting four goals and two assists for 10 points.

Soccer 2013: Appeared in 16 games, starting five…Collected one goal and one assist for three points…Had four shots, two on goal…Her goal was the first game-winning tally of her collegiate career, a header off a corner kick early in the second overtime to beat Drew University, 1-0, on Sept. 7…Assisted on a goal by Camille Graham in a 3-0 win over Rutgers-Newark (Sept. 21)…Helped the team post seven shutouts and a 1.78 goals-against average…Earned her second straight NJAC Academic Honorable Mention recognition.

Soccer 2012: Appeared in all 19 games for the Scarlet Raptors, starting 16…Took eight shots…Finished third on the team with two goals and tied for third with four points…Captured NJAC Academic Honorable Mention…Notched her first goal of the season when she scored the Raptors’ second tally in a 6-0 win over John Jay College of Criminal Justice (Oct. 1)…Also scored the team’s lone goal in a 2-1 loss to Richard Stockton College (Oct. 10)…Had two shots apiece against both John Jay and Richard Stockton…Played all 110 minutes of a 1-1 tie at Rutgers-Newark (Sept. 15) and the entire 90 minutes in 10 other games.

Soccer 2011: Played in 14 of the Raptors’ 15 games, making 13 starts as a center midfielder…Finished fourth on the team in scoring with three points (one goal, one assist)…Took seven shots, the fifth-highest total on the Scarlet Raptors, including four shots on goal…Named NJAC Honorable Mention…Made collegiate debut and had her first start in a 0-0 season-opening tie against Salisbury University (Sept. 1)…Had her season highs of two shots against both Kean University (Sept. 24) and Rutgers-Newark (Oct. 19)…In the Rutgers-Newark game, she collected both her first career goal and first career assist, helping the Raptors post a 3-2 victory and snap a two-year program-record 17-game winless streak…Assisted on the first goal of the contest, a shot by Katie Angelosante…Twenty minutes later, scored an unassisted tally to stake the Raptors to a 2-0 lead…Helped Rutgers-Camden post a 2-0 shutout at Ramapo College (Oct. 22)…Her strong play in midfield helped anchor a young defense which held opponents to two goals or less in nine of the Raptors’ 15 games.

High School: Earned four varsity soccer letters with the Highland Regional High School Tartans…Playing for Coach Tiffany Strauss, collected All-Group 3 First Team honors from the
Courier-Post newspaper in both her junior and senior seasons (2009 and 2010)…Honor Roll student…National Honor Society and numerous other honor societies.
