Biography

A transfer who played two seasons at Cumberland County College, Renee Bokma joins the Rutgers-Camden women’s soccer program this season.
 
Pre-Rutgers: Played 21 games, starting 20, in her two-year Cumberland County College career, notching 17 goals and two assists for 36 points…As a freshman in 2016, played in eight games, starting seven, and collecting two goals for four points…Had a huge sophomore season, starting all 13 of her games and producing 15 goals (two game winners) and two assists for 32 points…Notched five goals in a 6-0 win over Camden County College and collected a hat trick in the final game of her Dukes career, a 7-1 victory over Bergen County College…Earned NJCAA Region XIX Second Team and All-Garden State Athletic Conference Second Team honors…Named the team’s MVP…Earned a GSAC Player of the Week honor…Capped sophomore year being named Cumberland County College’s 2017-18 Scholar-Athlete of the Year…Compiled a 3.7 GPA as a Health Sciences major at Cumberland County College.
 
High School: Women’s soccer letterwinner for Coach Lauren Vanlier at Cumberland Regional High School…Earned All-Conference Second Team honors as a senior.

Personal: Born November 22, 1997…Enjoys singing, soccer and spending time with family and friends…Nursing major who plans to obtain her Master’s degree and become a Pediatric Oncology Nurse Practitioner…Renee is the daughter of Jeanette and John Bokma of Shiloh.
