Ben Holl returns for his fifth seaon with the Rutgers-Camden basketball program. Holl coached three seasons during his first stint with the program, joining the team for the 2019-20 campaign and remaining with the staff for the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons. After missing the 2022-23 season, he returned again for the 2023-24 campaign.
Holl came to Rutgers-Camden after serving as an assistant coach at Division II Chestnut Hill College during the 2018-19 season.
Holl served as an assistant coach for Hill Freedman World Academy in the Philadelphia Public League during the 2017-2018 campaign. He assisted the head coach, implementing team drills and strategies, while also running individual training sessions.
Prior to coaching at the Hill Freedman World Academy, Holl held multiple positions as a youth instructor, including an internship with Philadelphia Youth Basketball, a local nonprofit that provides academic and athletic outlets for inner-city youth.
Holl earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, minoring in sports management from Johnson State College in 2017. While at Johnson State College, Holl was a four-year basketball player. He currently works in the finance department at Project HOME, a Philadelphia based social services organization that works to combat homelessness.
