A newcomer to the Rutgers-Camden men’s soccer coaching staff in 2024, Brian Gately was an outstanding collegiate goalkeeper and has worked as a trainer with the Philadelphia Soccer Club.
 
A goalie at Ursinus College in 2014 before transferring to Elizabethtown College, Gately ranks sixth in goalie minutes (3,504) and fifth in shutouts (16) on the Blue Jays’ career lists. An All-Landmark Conference First Team player, he also earned Landmark Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll Accolades at Elizabethtown. During his Blue Jays career, he earned conference/region Player of the Week four times.
 
A Business Administration major with a minor in Finance, Gately graduated from Elizabethtown in 2019.
 
During his scholastic days, Gately was the goalkeeper at Hempfield High School in 2012 and 2013. He earned All-Conference First Team honors and helped Hempfield capture the 2012 District Three championship. He graduated from Hempfield in 2014.
 
Gately works in sales for Buckeye Corrugated.
