A four-year Scarlet Raptor letterwinner from 2016-19, Dannie Dinsfriend joined the Rutgers-Camden coaching staff for the 2020 season and enters her sixth season coaching with the program in 2024.

Dinsfriend appeared in 52 games at Rutgers-Camden, playing at first base, third base, pitcher and designated player during her collegiate career. She compiled a 3-4 record and a 3.93 ERA in 24 career pitching appearances (seven starts), while hitting .246 (14-for-57) with seven RBIs and seven runs. She also reached base seven times as a hit batsman and 10 times with walks, posting a fine .419 on-base percentage.
 
Defensively, she had a .946 career fielding percentage, with three errors in 56 total chances, while collecting 33 putouts and 20 assists.
 
A Childhood Studies major who graduated in 2019, Dinsfriend earned a berth on both the ECAC Academic Honor Roll and the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2018 Spring semester.
 
Among her memorable pitching performances, she hurled an eight-hit shutout against Ursinus College (April 24, 2016, Game Two), while walking one and striking out one. She reached base three times in that game, twice as a hit batsman and once with a walk.
 
Dinsfriend also hurled 2-1/3 no-hit innings in relief against Ramapo College (April 8, 2017, Game One), without being involved in the decision. Earlier that season, she earned a victory over Bay Path University (March 17), while working six innings of nine-hit ball, allowing five runs (four earned) and three walks. She struck out five in that game and went 2-for-4 with one RBI.
 
Dinsfriend was a four-year softball letterwinner at Cherokee High School.
