Lydia Bauer joined the Rutgers-Camden coaching staff during the 2024 season and will return for her second year in 2025.
 
Bauer, who brings plenty of coaching and collegiate volleyball experiences to the Scarlet Raptors’ program, played as a middle and right side at Shippensburg University from 2018-21. She also served as the team’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) representative during her senior year in 2021-22.
 
During her scholastic career at Northern Burlington Regional High School, Bauer earned two varsity letters as a middle. She captured All-Central Division First Team and All-County Second Team honors with the Greyhounds.
 
Bauer started her coaching career as an assistant with the Revolution Volleyball Club in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, serving from January-May, 2022. Since February, 2024, she has been a clinic coach with the Velocity Volleyball Club.
 
A 2022 Shippensburg graduate with a Bachelor’s of Science in Education, Bauer is heading into her second year as a Third Grade Special Education Teacher with the Southampton School District. She is a resident of Eastampton, New Jersey.
