Sophomore Cameron Dobbins had another sensational performance over the weekend while competing for the Rutgers-Camden indoor track team at the St. Joseph’s College Winter Invitational. Dobbins scored all nine points for the Scarlet Raptor men’s team, while running ECAC qualifiers in both the 60-meter and 200-meter dashes. He reached the finals of the 60-meter dash and finished fourth overall out of the original 80-man field, posting a 7.00 clocking. At 200 meters, he tied for third out of 95 athletes with a 22.87 time. He also ran the leadoff leg on the Raptors’ 4x200 team, which finished eighth of 18 (1:36.27). Dobbins has run ECAC qualifiers in the 60-meter dash in all four meets where he has competed in that event this season. He also has posted ECAC qualifiers in both meets in which he has run the 200-meter dash this season. Today’s Raptor of the Week honor is the third this winter for Dobbins, who also earned the recognition on Dec. 12 and Jan. 23.
