Women’s basketball center Caroline Santiago celebrated Senior Night in her final regular-season home game, with a 6-for-11 shooting night from the field, on her way to 13 points as the Scarlet Raptors nearly upset nationally-ranked Montclair State University Feb. 15. Santiago added seven rebounds, one steal and one blocked shot. As the Raptors await a potential berth in the ECAC tournament, Santiago is averaging 7.3 points and 6.9 rebounds in her final season of collegiate eligibility. In her second season at Rutgers-Camden after a terrific two years at Cumberland County College, she has played in 93 games over her combined four-year collegiate career, producing 879 points and 817 rebounds. She also has been a member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the Spring 2016 and Fall 2016 semesters.
