Senior Alisha Singleton, a first-year member on the Rutgers-Camden indoor track team, had a record-setting performance for the Scarlet Raptors at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships Feb. 20. In the meet held at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Staten Island, Singleton set two individual program records, contributed to one program relay mark and set personal bests in all four of her events. She set Rutgers-Camden indoor marks in the 60-meter dash (8.21) while finishing 10th of 21 athletes and placed seventh of 18 in the 60-meter hurdles with a program mark of 9.44. She ran the leadoff leg on the Raptors’ record-setting 4x200 relay team (1:55.80) and also set her personal best of 28.12 in the 200-meter dash while finishing 19th of 26. Her record-setting time in the 60-meter hurdles broke her own program record of 9.72, set Jan. 20 at the Gotham Cup. Her mark in the 60-meter dash broke the record of 8.30 set by Catherine Fiore on Dec. 6, 2014.
