Senior Alexis Jones wrapped up her stellar cross country season on Saturday by finishing 36th out of 305 runners at the NCAA Division III Atlantic Region Championship. Her time of 23:40.8 on the 6K course at Rowan University was her second-fastest 6K time of the season and helped her to complete the fall campaign leading Rutgers-Camden in all seven of her meets. Along the way she earned All-New Jersey Athletic Conference honors and also won the 117-athlete NJAIAW Championship race. The performance allowed Jones to earn her second straight Raptor of the Week honor this fall and her fourth Raptor of the Week overall. The NJAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week on both Sept. 10 and Sept. 24, she also earned Rutgers-Camden’s Raptor of the Week on both those dates, in addition to Oct. 29 and Nov. 12.
