Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Sophomore libero Morgan Fox has been a key cog for the Rutgers-Camden volleyball team throughout the season and she had three more strong performances during a 2-1 run for the Scarlet Raptors last week.  Fox collected 51 digs, three kills (in three attempts for a 1.000 hitting percentage), five assists and three service aces as the Raptors swept conference foe William Paterson University and swept a non-conference match against John Jay College before losing in four sets at Alvernia University. In the win over Paterson Tuesday, Fox collected 21 digs and one assist. She had seven digs, two kills, two service aces and two assists in the victory against John Jay Wednesday. On Saturday at Alvernia, she had 23 digs, two assists, one kill and one service ace. Fox owns a team-leading 251 digs this season, has 14 double-digit matches for digs this season (out of her 17 matches) and has hiked her career mark to 490 digs, 13th on the program’s all-time list. As a freshman, she earned honors as the New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week (Oct. 15, 2018) and she was named the NJAC Defensive Player of the Week on Monday.
