Emily Hilt earns her fourth Raptor of the Week during the 2021-22 scholastic year after an outstanding performance in three events at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships Sunday and Monday. Hilt captured her first NJAC championship in the hammer throw on Sunday, finishing first in a field of 20 athletes with a throw of 51.02 meters. The next day she finished second out of 23 athletes with a shot put of 13.03 meters, a mark that broke her own program record of 12.99 meters. She also finished fifth out of 24 in the discus with a throw of 36.48 meters. Hilt set program records in all three events this season. During indoor track season, Hilt was named Rutgers-Camden’s Raptor of the Week on both Dec. 13 and Feb. 14. She won her first Raptor of the Week for outdoor season on March 28.
