Junior forward Josie Jackson-Conner had a fine week for the Rutgers University-Camden women’s soccer team, notching a game-winning goal and two assists as the Scarlet Raptors went 1-1 in two games. In a 2-1 loss to Washington College on Wednesday, Jackson-Conner made a long run down the right flank and sent a perfect cross to the far left post, resulting in the Raptors’ lone goal only 43 seconds into the game. In a 4-0 win at Bryn Athyn on Saturday, she scored the eventual game-winning goal 6:53 into the game and then added the assist on the team’s second goal, 6:03 into the second half. For the season, Jackson-Conner is third on the team in scoring with eight points. She leads the team with two game-winning goals and is tied for second on the club with three goals overall.
