Freshman Josiah Saint Elien made an impressive debut over the weekend for the Rutgers University-Camden men’s indoor track and field team. Saint Elien, who earned his first collegiate letter during the fall season with the cross country program, competed in his first indoor meet at the FastTrack Season Opener on Dec. 6, running on the Scarlet Raptors’ 4x800 relay team that finished first out of six programs in a time of 8:16.61. The next day, at the Bow-Tie Invitational, he helped the men’s 4x400 team finish first out of six teams (3:35.88), while also finishing fourth out of six athletes in the triple jump (11.89 meters).
