Junior forward Cameron Downs earned his fourth Raptor of the Week honor this season after averaging 19.5 points and 9.0 rebounds in a pair of games last week. Downs scored 20 points and added nine rebounds, three steals, one assist and one block in a loss at Stockton University Thursday. He netted 19 points, nine rebounds, two steals and one assist in a win over William Paterson on Saturday. That game lifted his career scoring output to 1,203 points as he moved into eighth place on the program’s all-time scoring list. He passed Ray Pace, who scored 1,201 points from 1975-77. Downs leads the Scarlet Raptors in scoring (17.7 ppg), rebounding (7.2 rpg) and assists (44), while tying for the team lead with 15 blocked shots. He also is third in steals (28). Downs also won Raptor of the Week honors this season on November 25, December 16 and February 3.
