Senior third baseman Ryan Nutley earns the final Raptor of the Week honor for the 2024-25 scholastic year after his performance in the NCAA Division III Baltimore Regional over the weekend. Nutley hit .375 (3-for-8) with a sacrifice fly, three walks and three RBIs during the Scarlet Raptors’ three tournament games. In Friday’s opening-game 6-5 win over Rensselaer, Nutley went 2-for-5, including a walk-off two-run single to cap the Scarlet Raptors’ three-run rally in the bottom of the ninth inning. He went 1-for-2 with a sacrifice fly as the Raptors lost a winners’ bracket game on Saturday against the nation’s top-ranked team, Johns Hopkins University, then went 0-for-1 with three walks in the last game of the season, a loss to Rensselaer in the losers’ bracket final Saturday night. His three walks in that game gave him 34 for the season, setting a new program record. He broke the single-season program record of 32 set by Albert Rivera in 2013. For the season, Nutley started all 47 Rutgers-Camden games at third base, hitting .293. In addition to leading the team in walks, he tied for first with 10 HBP, finished second in assists (100), third in RBIs (37) and runs (39) and fourth in hits (48). In his two-year career at Rutgers-Camden, Nutley hit .304 with 88 hits, 65 RBIs, 62 runs and 167 assists.
